![]() I believe they have changed ownership recently based on people referring to a different owner in the bad reviews. I have dealt directly with the new owner Tony and he is very helpful. This place actually exists in the spot of the empty store on the Google Map Street View, it just hasnt been updated. Picked myself up a moss ball and a resin ornament I had not seen anywhere else, including online. Most types I had never even seen before and were for sale! Also had a good variety of aquatic plants. It turned out to be almost like going to an actual aquarium! I was just looking for some aquarium supplies and got a free show :) As far as fish stock, had a lot more variation than you would find at chain pet stores. Had quite a few exotic pets which probably werent for sale. Was very surprised to find a small shark tank! There were also remoras in the same tank. Since he does not seem to value a customer who spends approximately $200 per visit- we will NOT return- nor will we recommend this establishment to family or friends. A simple $40 store credit (NOT REFUND) would have kept us satisfied, but he was not willing to consider this. We learned that the owner will not stand behind his "livestock" as he was not willing to even offer a partial store credit for a purchase made within 2 days!! (the $90 fish died in under 48 hours) He blamed us for this, even though all other fish in the tank were purchased here and are all sill thriving. But she was very rude about it.Ī very disappointing experience at this store, after being a loyal customer since it opened less than a year ago. Even if she was just a little nicer with explaining the policy I wouldve been ok. Im glad I didnt buy more expensive fish from them. ![]() So for a local store to not guarantee anything past it getting home is unheard of to me. Even online fish retailers will guarantee live arrival and even up to 48 hours after receiving a fish. Thats the first time Ive heard of that policy. ![]() She told me they do not guarantee live fish once they make it home. The woman was very rude and asked "Well if it died yesterday why are you just calling today?" I told her because by the time I saw it they were closed. I called them the next day and asked if there was anything they could do. It was about 24 hours since I had gotten them, however the store was closed at this point. A few hours later he was dead, didnt even see him struggling or anything. ![]() The next morning he was in a different corner, still being weird while The other clown was swimming about. One of them was acting very strange and just hanging out in the corner, I thought, ok, hes just not used to it. ![]() Fast forward, I get home with the fish, acclimate them properly, and in the tank they went (There were no other fish in the tank but the 2 clowns). And the woman helping me was pretty rude, kept complaining how she was "the only cashier there." She just had an attitude. However, thats where my good impression ends. It was set up very nice and didnt feel like the dark and dingy fish stores you normally see around here.
